Time to Worship (December Update)

Snow covered our home. Over two feet.  Amazed at God's great creation.

Isaiah 1:18 "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool."

All I can say is that we are learning a lot about human condition and God's incredible grace towards us.  We sin, we don't even realize half the things that we do, but we are so utterly in need of salvation.  The incredible grace of God is that He already knew that and knows our condition.  Jesus came to die for us, that though our sins are scarlet, we shall be as white as snow.  Our sins will be covered just like the fallen snow.

We are sinned against and we sin against other people.  This is what we all know.  We need Jesus for both.  We need Jesus to forgive those who sinned against us.  And we need Jesus to love those we really want to sin against.  Holy Spirit work in my heart.

Romans 7:24-25 What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God—through Jesus Christ our Lord!

What a glorious time to worship… when you have sinned so badly and realize that Jesus has overcome your sin…
